AWARD WINNING - This piece won second place in the annual art exhibition by the Nashua Arts Association in August 2021. ---- Ironically, the show was shortened to one day because of a pending hurricane / tropical storm which harks back to the creation of this damaged pier that this painting memorializes. ------ Decades ago, a historic blizzard known as the Northeastern United States Blizzard of 1978 hit Massachusetts with 86mph winds and coated the state with around 2-4 ft of snow. Destroyed in the snowstorm, the last remains of the pier from West Beach in Beverly, MA take focus in this 11 x 14in painted with Golden acrylics. Like peering into memories and moments of this beach, this painting will settle nicely in areas of your space where more memories are made.
